Tournament Rules

1. Each participant shall be a member in good standing with CBBC prior to fishing. Individuals must have the current years dues paid, be registered and derby fees paid prior to or during the 7pm drivers meeting on Friday. At the drivers meeting, the weigh-in people will review the location and procedures for the weigh-in at that respective derby.

2. There are no off limits for any CBBC derbies.

3. During the derbies, open waters shall include the specified lake and any adjacent bodies of water that can be reached by boat from the lake. Locking through dams is not permitted unless otherwise specified.

*4. Saturday- The water will open at12:00am and run to 4:00 p.m. weigh in time.

Sunday- The waters will open to fishing at 12am and run to 12:00 noon weigh in time.

Note: You or your fish must be present at the weigh-in site at the designated weigh-in times Saturday and Sunday or your fish will not be weighed. Weigh-in site is determined to be a No Wake area surrounding the designated weigh-in area or other location as determined by the tournament director.

* Exception to the weigh in times- The Tournament Director may announce an alternate weigh-in time for any day or derby that they see fit.

5. Only 5 (five) bass per angler will be weighed daily. Only 5 bass per angler may be retained in the livewell at any time. When fishing Washington State waters with a contest banner, five (5) bass per contestant can be retained with no size limitations or restrictions. No other species of fish may be retained on board while fishing under the banner

6. There will be no minimum length.

7. Each contestant may declare one big fish at the time of weigh in. In cases of a scoring tie, the contestant with the largest bass shall be declared the winner.

8. Fish being weighed must have been caught by that contestant. Sharing of fish is not allowed.

9. Transportation of live fish over land is prohibited by state fish and game laws and said fish will not be weighed in at CBBC derbies.

10. Use of live bait is prohibited, with the exception of the kidŐs derby where the permit specifically allows this.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH INDIVIDUAL TO FOLLOW ALL STATE AND FEDERAL GAME LAWS AND TO BEHAVE IN A SPORTING MANNER. C.B.B.C IS NOT ABLE TO LIST EVERY POTENTIAL GAME VIOLATION OR EVERY CIRCUMSTANCE OF MISCONDUCT. IT IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL TO DO WHAT IS RIGHT. C.B.B.C RESERVES THE RIGHT TO NOT ALLOW THE PARTICIPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO VIOLATE LAWS OR BEHAVE IN ANY WAY WHICH REFLECTS NEGATIVELY ON C.B.B.C.
